METHODOLOGY
The Hardware Index follows NVIDIA’s list price at each announced change. The Memory Index uses the monthly index published by 3DCenter. We neither recompute nor smooth any value.
We update the index after 3DCenter publishes, around mid-month, and check NVIDIA’s list price the same day. Every value keeps its date and its link.
The index describes what the same new hardware costs today. A used machine sells at its own price, often lower: the gain shown in the ROI calculator stays a projection.
